Got my first Emerson !

I've been wanting to pick up a CQC-7 with a Warren Thomas blade but ran across a Max-1 for $140 , a lot less than the CQC-7. It like new with box and paperwork. After I jumped on it, I did some more research and found some negative feedback on the knife. Hopefully I didn't pick up a highly undesirable model.. not that I plan on selling it but it is nice to know I bought something decent. No pics yet.. hopefully receive the knife this week.

The MAX 1 is very similar to the older MACH 1. I have both, and have used my MACH 1 daily since 2000 and never a hitch. You'll rarely (if ever) will find a knife on this forum that someone won't have an objection on so, if it appeals to you, that's all that counts.
Enjoy it, it's a good knife.

The Mach 1 and by connection the MAX 1 have a bit of a cult following, you certainly didn't buy a "dud". Congrats on you're first Emerson, even cooler that its a disco'd model!
