So my girl and I went to a very high end mall together and while walking around I was fortunate enough to go into a knife show and play with a lot of different knives. I played with Striders, CRKs, Emersons, ect. I was blown away with the Hinderer knives, I had heard alot of negative things on forums and such and man those people must have never touched a hinderer. After playing with a 3 inch xm-18 (I live in LA county so 3 inch if you want to clip it otherwise it has to be fully concealed) for 10 or so minutes, I left to use the restroom. I come out and my girl hands me a bag, inside is the 3 inch xm-18 i had been looking at. I was beyond ecstatic, this knife is now my edc, my shiro tabaragan, brous ss and caliber, and utx-70 ca are benched for a while.

Wow looks like you got a keeper! Not talking about the knife.
Any more specs on the knife would be cool, like the grind, or some pics?
Here's mine from when I first purchased it

Sounds like you were at Plaza Cutlery? That place is horrible.....I leave there with my fun money tank on empty.

Congrats on you first Hinderer...the first of many I'm sure.

As stated above, you've definitely got a keeper.
