Got my first hinderer from a fellow forum member around 2 days ago. i have to say, it lived up to all the hipe. i got it for 700$, its a gen 3 3.5 inch flipper stonewashed/stonewashed. i was blown away by this knife. i would have to say, if hinderer sold these directly for what they actually think they are worth, everyone would have one in there pocket. Im officially a Hinderer fan boy.

just orderer a titanium scale off of monkeysedge its bead blasted, and im hoping to get a better scale/clip come the Plaza Cutlery Knife show in october. anyone have experience with the bead blasted titanium scale? how does it look on the knife?

That's gorgeous man, congratulations. I want an XM-18 in the worst way. Maybe when I hit the lottery I can finally join you.

Cool, enjoy the options in accessories, it's part of the fun.

Welcome to Hinderer ownership.

Great knife!!!! Congrats!!! I just got my first XM-18 2 days ago as well and I am still riding on cloud 9. I just love it and the more I use it the more I love it... There is also a positive side effect of being a Hinderer owner; I used to peruse the For Sale and trade ads several times a day looking at all the knives being sold, traded etc. Now when I look I'm completely UN-interested...it's like an old habit that I think will soon disappear. Yes, I think that besides accessories (I want a stonewashed bronze scale) I have found THE ONE....

Hahaha i feel you, i'm not looking forward to the time when i deiced i need another one and need to track one down... I'm going to Plaza Cutlery Knife Show in October, hoping to win a Gen 4 :) maybe a hellfire blade lol

I've almost pulled the trigger on one two or three times......just couldn't hit the "I'll take it." Yours looks awesome and I must admit to drooling over the pictures. I'm envious and that always leads to purchasing.....your last name isn't Jones is it??
