IT ROCKS!! Well I got my first Kershaw today and it is a very well made knife. The handle looks great and it came super sharp. It fits great into my hand and slips easily into my pocket. This is also my first time using Kershaw’s speeds safe and I love it. Here are some pics but the real question is what Kershaw knife should I get next?

Nice pics! I don't think you'll find a Kershaw you won't like. So to address your question, what do you want out of the next one? There are a bunch of different models that will suit any need.

Congrats on your first Kershaw, and welcome to the addiction!

Congrats on the Leek. It's one of my favs. As for your next one, if you really
like the Leek you might want to take a look at the Shallot. It's the Leeks big
brother. If you want to try something different, give one of the flippers
a try. I would recommend the RAM or the Groove. Both are great flippers,
great knives and when you flip one open, you'll think it's an AO. They're
that fast and smooth. What ever you decide, you can't go wrong with
a Kershaw.

Glad you like your first Kershaw! The Black and Red Leek is a classic:thumbup: I still carry mine quite often, although it does get competition from a whole BUNCH of other Kershaws:D

As far as your next one goes, start checking out the Blurs, or if you like your knives a bit smaller like the Leek, check out a Skyline or OSO Sweet, or new Limited edition Black small ENER-G.

Cheers,
Jonny

Thanks for the tips on the next knife everyone. Where can I find some info on the ENER-G?

Does anyone know a Canadian Dealer who will stock the ENER-G Limited Edition? I would hate to lose them in Customs.

There is no assist on the ENER-G's. Is it really that tight up there that they'd snag a model with a flipper. I'm not familiar with the laws up in Canada, but I would assume, (emphasis on the ASSUME) that this model would be fine.

Good Luck,
Jon

Thanks Jon
As long as the knife can not be Flicked open or be opened centrifugal force it is fine.

Welcome to the addiction Clone7!! You're starting off with the Leek just like I did. A little warning though, be careful, every Kershaw I've handled has become pretty much a "must have", like I said, it's an addiction!!

With all the different Blur's out there, I say give them a look. There is a new limited edition blue Blur that looks absolutely great!:D

I have a black scalion, a regualr silver leek, a black coated leek, and i just bought that exact same leek the other day too (red and black)....i love kershaws. I also picked up the new Oso Sweet the other day...great "user" kinfe.

Kershaw makes one fine knife. Reading this thread I just realized that I have more Kershaws then any other make. It must be for a reason. Am waiting for the Blue Blur to make its home here on Monday via the brown truck. That should make about 9 and 3 are Leeks. Enjoy yours.

Another Welcome to the addiction clone7! IMHO Kershaw produces the best tools for the price. All my Kershaws are users, they have never let me down, and always rise to any cutting task I encounter; to me that's priceless. Again, Welcome!
