Got my first Military... by mistake.

So I ordered a PM 2 with a black handle and satin blade on Sunday. This is what was in the box when I opened it Wednesday.

I have never been more happy with the wrong product being shipped. I have always wanted a Military but thought they would be way to big, but this thing carries great and the fit and finish is awesome on it.

You ordered my second favorite Spyderco and got my favorite Spyderco.
Military's and Sebenza's are about the only moderns I carry these day's, but I'll carry a PM 2 on occasion too.

Was this the wrong knife in a PM2 box or did they simply ship the wrong item all together?

Where did you buy it?

From that big jungle retailer. It was through them and not a third party seller.

I am really shocked at how well I am liking this knife. I normally don't do black blades or camo g10 or tip down carry but for some reason on this knife it works.

They messed up my order too.
I subscribed to their "Premiere" service with the 2-day shipping and the first thing I ordered was a gift for a friend who lives on the coast,
a Spyderco Pacific Salt full serrated.
What arrives is a combo edge Tenacious, a knife worth $30 less....
I sent it back, and the exact same scenario unfolded the second time.
So at that point, I called, cancelled my Premiere service and asked for a full refund and ordered the Pacific Salt from BHQ, who promptly sent me the correct knife.

So I think they have a serious warehouse / inventory issue over there at the big river site.

Had it been a knife of lesser value I would have went to the hassle of sending it back, but since I only paid 115 I'm just going to keep it. This is the first time time using them and it looks like it will be my last. I've never had this problem with any normal dealer.

They just sent the wrong item all together. The box says "military camo". Everything in my order and emails all day pm2

I love my Cruwear Millie.
The only thing I would change is I would love to have someone drill it out for tip-up carry.
Right hand, tip-down the spine of the blade hits the back of my hand when I reach into my pocket, and I don't like that at all, so it keeps me from carrying the Millie as much as I ought to.

They are a gigantic retailer with a million different products in their warehouses.
That's not an excuse, but it's a good rationale for sticking with one of the MANY knife-centric online retailers out there.
The warehouse boy at BladeHQ might catch that mistake. The warehouse boy at South-American River Site isn't going to know the difference.

Silly humans and their "mistakes", the nerve!

How dare they inconvenience us with their ignorance. In all honesty this is the first time they have ever screwed up one of my orders. It just happened to be my first knife order from them.

I looked at their website and it looks very strange. How do you even buy items? Do you have to pay for a membership first or hows it work? Big Jungle PTC.

Oh. Wouldn't buy from them anyways cause sounds like if bought a Military they'd send me a Resiliance. But that's a good deal you got there though. Congrats.

Me too. I fixed it and it was a simple fix anyone could do. I am carrying my CRUWEAR Mili right now. Check this thread out. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1123113-Tapping-into-G10-and-only-G10-for-screws
