This thing is HUGE i love it. I EDCd it today and it was fine but the color kinda drew some attention, but i got it for camping so i wont lose it. pretty sure you could see it from space. Got a grasshopper too just for fun, my girlfriend loves the bugs.

Congrats. Honesty, if you only had the two stainless steel knives and the military in the picture, most would think the military is a massive novelty knife lol. I know it is a big knife, though the thing dwarfs the others.

I was up to six and a few of them the special ones but I'm settled down to a black scaled standard, orange standard and a Ti. Not sure if I'm keeping the Ti yet.

Every serious knife user should own a Military. It's just such a great knife and one that will be talked about years after it's gone, if it ever is. The super pointy point, cutting edge length, blade profile, multi-grip handle, and weight to strength ratio make the Military a top pick anytime one is looking for a large folder that's easy to carry and does many things well. It's a jack of all trades yet still a master at a few things. Ironically, considering its overall large size, the Military excells when you are choked up on the front choil using the point to do something micro fine like surgcally extracting a splinter with the very tip of the blade. I have actually stuck the point through my skin, into small splinters and ratcheted them out the same hole they created going in with the orange Miltary.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Military. Can't wait for the CPM-M4 version to come out. :D

The military certainly is a huge knife. My hands are rather small, so it almost feels like I'm holding a small sword when they are wrapped around the huge handle. I just got the lefty version. I'm SO glad I decided to spend the cash on it.

are you fricken kidding me? the blade on a military is not huge. It's only 4 inchs which I consider barely adequate. Try playing with a ti-lite 6 incher, now that is a pocket sword!

Well, now you've done it! Now I have to get a lefty military so I can carry a matched pair and it's all your fault. :)

It's not the 4 inch blade by itself that makes it seem huge, it's the handle that my hand only partially covers when I grip it. Especially when I grip the end of the handle, the reach is unbelievable!
