After 4 Mini-grips, S30V, M390 (still one of my favorites), 154cm, and now a ritter mini...I have found my EDC bliss! I thought the blade profile was going to be too high from all the pictures I have seen but once I got it, it wasnt bad at all in fact the grind makes this blade a better cutter, slicer then the modified profile on the standard BM minis. My Para2 was always regarded as my best slicer and still is but it was bigger, heavier, opened up a number of time when pulled from the pocket (couple of bad cuts on the fingers so this one quickly exited the rotation)...never fully loved the Para2 but it was such a great slicer it is hard to deny, now the ritter has narrowed this, not a better slicer than the para2 but certainly better than the standard minis! So she is now my EDC of choice. My M390 is my 2nd favorite...the steel is simply amazing!!

I think my Ritter mini is by far the best value you can get hands on. Mine is seriously perfect in every way

I just bought a mini ritter off of the exchange and I Instantly loved it. Its a great little knife, I normally carry a spyderco mili or sebbie but I like this one just as much if not more for the work place. The orange handles yell non-threatening and its small stature and great blade design make it a performer. Really just a great little knife.

Pic! Sorry bad lighting in my office this am..and lens on my iPhone was dirty. Need to clean a few of these knives!

Size reference...now you know why I like the carry the Ritter or any Mini Grip for that matters instead of the para2, 0350, or the HEST. The other weight so much more, they are way bigger and with a thicker blade done slice or cut as well. Well the Para2 does really well but it feel quite big in the pocket. The Para2 is my camping EDC...it is awesome for food prep as well as everything else! Can filet a small fish well...however the thumb hole gets messy! Scale city! Cleaning the Minis are a breeze!!

I really like the Ritter, but I just can't justify spending double the cost of a regular Mini-Grip.

Great choice! I have the Ritter Mini in M2 and want a large orange handled Ritter.

The ritter also has the better steel. A regular Mini is 154cm...which I find just ok. I am not nuts about s30v but it does hold an edge way better!! It is harder to sharpen but you do it far less!!! the s30v on the ritter seems to be a little better than the other s30v I have had from BM. Not sure if they are doing the treating different...just found mine to be pretty good. BM s30v treating is all over the map. Not sure if I got lucky or if doug has better quality control on his grips. Either way I am happy with the ritter. I still love the Para2 as well...it is s30v and really good...it is just too big and opens too often when drawn from my pocket.

I absolutely love the Ritter minis. My current edc for the day is a m4 ritter mini with custom cuscadi cf micarta scales. I've also got an orange s30v version that I keep in my car just in case I somehow managed to forget my knife. I definitely agree that the blade shape is far superior to the standard grip models. And the blade steel upgrade is certainly nice as well (especially the m4!!!).

i know you like your Ritter but do you want to love it?
add some custom scales and then let me know.

What do you think about the Ritter Grip's handle material? Can you tell a real difference between that and the original mini-grip? If so how do you qualify the difference?

The Ritter Grip's handles are identical to the regular Grip. They feel and look the same.

I think all Ritters are pretty awesome.
Here's my beloved Mini-Ritter M2 with some modified Wilkins scales and standoffs installed.
