I arrived home this evening to find my prize form the Spreading Peanut Love giveaway that was held right here in the Traditional forum.
I went with the mystery Peanut which turned out to be a sweet little Amherst Cutlery in Stag.
This is my first Peanut (inexcusable seeing as I have lived in GA since 1979), and I have only had time to admire the rich caramel hues in the very fine stag handles, and snap a few pics..

She is plenty sharp, so it's into the pocket for a week (or more?) of EDC.
I will update with a Peanut review after Labor day.
I feel it's the start of a beautiful relationship.

Thanks again to Thomason for the very, very generous giveaway!!

Congrats. What a great group this is. I'm sure you will enjoy it. There is nothing like a small slippy!

Congrats on the nut, I remember my first one, it was over way to fast!
Great pics by the way.

Holy Cow, I can't believe that you have been with us for this long and didn't have a peanut! Enjoy it. It really grows on you.

Car-a-mel! (voice of Homer Simpson) Very nice knife. That Thomason, he sure is a kind person! One of the best kind that is...

beautiful little knife!

Don't be surprised if after a week it sort of grows on you, and somehow stays in the pocket.

It may even want company. Peanuts are happier when in groups.

I feel you will be surprised on how usefull a peanut is. I carry a peanut to use around the sheepole at work.
