Got My First Rat

Congrats! The RMD is a great blade and lauded as such. The HRLM? You don't hear as much about it but is truly one of my favorites. So much so, that it is the blade I've chosen for ready use externally on my backpacks.

(The 'Weilers are almost an addiction and the original Ratweiler has yet to be topped as my favorite blade design.)
 
congrats on the first!! the HRLM was my gateway knife to Busse and Kin. now 30 knives later I cant stop!!!!! good luck to your wallet!! lol
 
Congrats on the HRLM, it is one of my favorites. Like Paddling Man, it's one of my go to knives, so it is stays horizontally attached to my pack belt.
 
Mine as well, just finally got pants for it-used a Benchmade Nimvarus sheath I bought aftermarket. Looks great. Now I need to find its chopper companion! The Rodent 9, 911 and Rucki are all options, sigh, what to do!
 
I have 2 HRLM and consider them outstanding knives! I will be selling ONE however, to get the Busse Basic 4 although, I hate the thought of parting with one of them, I want that Basic 4............badly......... never thought I would part with one of them but I must.
 
I'm sticking with my Howlers, the B4 is nice, but not a Howler.
