And i don't think it will be my last.

I never really liked the look of many Spyderco knives because of the hole, but the longer i'm in the knife hobby the more i seem to get used to it and like it. The pm3 or para3 have really been catching my eye lately. So when i saw this on a second hand website i had to jump on it.

It was sold as a PM1? (With custom scales) Can anyone tell me more about it?

Will be taking it to work for it's first use tomorrow, first impressions are pretty good.

It won't be your last!! I love mine, I've had a bunch of sebenzas and other higher priced knives but always go back to the pm2. I love the blade steel variety and other options spydercos offer. Enjoy it

The PM 1 is a classic/collector don't let the Shine grab you. If it does, you wont stop with the One,you'll then be taken on a whirlwind ride, I MUST HAVE a PM TWO! After the Two, you'll want another, with super steel and on and on....:p

Congrats, I've owned cheaper and vastly more expensive knives and always go back to Spyderco. Fit, finish, design and price, it's hard to beat Spyderco.

Nice find congrats. PM 1 has the smaller lanyard hole and was right handed tip down only carry. Looks like a PM 1 from where I am sitting.

Let me be the first to warn you. Your wallet is about to get lighter and lighter. My advise, hide it... Welcome to the Spyderco family.

I think the question isn't if i'm going to get a PM2. but rather when and which.

Yea. Isn't the blade smaller too?

That was a nice find. I have owned knives from a lot of companies of varying costs up or down, but Spyderco gives me the most satisfaction day in and day out.

I'ive had 2 PM1's, great knife, the only downside i found they have a very weak detent, doesn't use a detent ball :(
Welcome to the club

Is this only related to the Para one because I picked up a para 2 just yesterday and hope it doesn’t have that same detent issue as the Para one.

Funny aside . . . I sent my son a pic of the para 2 with its G10 scales that I picked up yesterday. He said he especially liked its blue color. I actually was attracted to it because I see it as purple. Looks like we were both right as spyderco calls the color “blurple”!
