Didn't have time for many photos, but got my used Zaan today :D

It is used with some scratches but the action, lock up, and centering are perfect. Pocket clip seems like detent is weak so I will have to get a new one. I have some white O rings and blue O rings on the way too! Opening and closing is so quiet amd smooth. I'm liking it so far!

Congrats I love my Zaan too:thumbup: A great knife for sure one of my favorite edc's!!

I feel your excitement, friend! I'm in the process of trading for one right now, and can't wait to get it! Ever since I got my 25, I'm hooked :-)

Congrats!
I like the Umnumzaan so much that I have three right now.

Benlong is on the money, just take the clip off and bend it a little more by hand, it doesn't take much. I had to do it with a Large Insingo that I traded for a few weeks ago and it turned out perfectly.

Enjoy that Umnum in great health, I carried my tanto for over two years as my edc, they're great knives!

Thanks everyone! I will have to mess around and see if I can fix the tension on the clip tomorrow! One question---- does the lanyard pin from a large sebbie fit the Zaan?

Nice Zaan. I have the original one or Gen 1 I guess you could call it. I had 3 of them at one time, the original, the tanto, and the WC. I liked the newer features with the wider lockbar release on the WC, but not the sharp edges of the design, so sold it along with the tanto as the tanto blade is limited. Heck, I was away from the forums for 6 months and now that I am back, the Zaan had the Ti-Lock & Sebenza 25 Pivot........LOL. Amazing how time flies when your got and all the things that can change....lol. Congrats on your Zaan. Its a hell of a kinfe. I have used mine for everything under the sun from food prep, to cutting tons of cardboard, whittling, to tar paper and shingles ( and yes, even myself...rather nasty I must say ) and it has never let me down. My second favorite CRK folder behind the large regular sebenza. I do wanna get a new Zaan with the wider thumb release, new pivot and the CRK logo lockbar stabilizer and YES Idaho Made....!!!

Nice! Now that's one more added to my list.
Small Sebenza Insingo - Micarta Inlays Preferred.
Large Insingo
Mnandi with Snake Wood inlay.
Umnumzaan

So many knives! Lol.

Put the removed pocket clip in a vice (the area with holes that attaches to knife) put something like leather on either side to prevent damage, this gives you perfect retention to bend in a way that will attach and re-use well...

Congrats on the Zaan! The smooth opening and closing of the knife is hypnotic, IMO. Enjoy! :D

Congrats, I have been looking at the Zaan and the 25 for the last few weeks and just cannot decide. This thread might help push to the Zaan.

Just got mine 2 wc version. I had a 25 and it just didn't do it for me. So I figured I'd try the zaan. Like it a lot better. It's so much smoother and I really like the blade shape. Congrats on yours.
