Got my first ZT... Hooked.

I picked up a zero tolerance 0700 from a local gunshop. I am NOT a fan of tanto blades. But the way this knife sat in my hand, I knew it had to be my first higher end folder.

So I bought it, and have completely fallen for it. So much so, I went back down to the gun shop, and put a ZT 121 on hold, and ordered a ZT 0350.

Ive been a kershaw guy for years. Theyre really what got me into cutlery period, and theyre the brand who helped me discover my particular 'taste' in folders. I liked the idea that I was still sticking with kershaw by buying Zero Tolerance.

What do you guys think of ZT? Yay, Nay? If you like them, whats your favorite model, and why?
 
I love my ZT and the majority of their models, but they do have some models I do not care for. Over all i love the overbuiltness of the knives and the excellent quality, I am definitely a ZT fan. Warning some of the higher end models spoil you and make it hard to go back to any lower end knives. Flipping my 0561 is a dream and is a lot different then flipping the 0200. The 0200 might do better with break in as I really like that knife as well.

I have really mixed feelings on manual flipper vs assisted flippers. I like manual, because it is legal for me to conceal any manual knife of any size here, but I liked the assisted, obviously because if you need to get your knife into battery quickly, an assist mechanism leaves less room for error.

Ive seen the 0560s and the similar models, but they didnt seems to inticing to me. is there a specific hinderer flipper by zt i should check out?
 
I like SOME of ZT's product line. I have a 0350 and a 0770, but they are the only ones so far that have appealed to me enough make me want to fork over the money.

The rest I am content to simply admire from afar. :D

Great knives by a great manufacturer. Can't say enough good things about them honestly!

If you feel like getting sucked into the ZT addiction, try the 0350 or the 0200. Both are fantastic folders, and are built like tanks. I prefer the 0200 over the 0350 though, which is why I sold the 0350.
 
Ur love the 0121 and 0350 as well......I started out with 0350 and now have 16 ZT knives I love them. U should really check out the 0801 and 0550 those two are my favorites. Should check out kershawguy.com for great deals on new and blem ZTs
 
I bought an 0350 almost a year as my first "higher end" knife and never looked back. I've carried it every single day since I got it. Once I find a cure for my poorness there'll be more being added to my collection. I'd like to add some Hinderer designed ZT's and a 0300 to the inventory.
 
I got an 0550 Yesterday ,my first ZT and I am scared now!

So I registered her and I am twice as scared!

They are very nice!

I have a ZT0350 blem and it's my favorite folder ever and my EDC knife (I don't rotate like some guys). I also have a ZT0700 because I thought it just looked awesome and they can be had relatively inexpensive for a ZT. Most of the designs I don't care for and a lot of them are priced way to high for me to even consider but I am a fan of the brand. I check kershawguy.com all the time keeping an eye out for deals on kershaws and ZT's.
 
I am totally loving ZT. So many great products as mentioned look at the 566, also check out the 801 such a great knife. Then when you get adventurous look into the more limited edition knives that when it gets really good. Great products and service all around
 
I bought my first ZT, a 0350 with an M390 blade, about a month ago.
I converted it to a manual flipper in about 5 minutes and am extremely happy with my knife.
I preordered a ZT 0770CF a few days later. I can see how the ZT bug bites pretty hard.
 
my first overbuilt folder was the zt 0300 and it is a BEAST! If you end up liking the 0350, you will love the 0300, Ti framelock, bigger contoured handle, and half an inch more blade!
