This was my longest wait for a knife, but man was it worth it! It was only 17 months, but felt much longer! This is pretty much THE knife for me. I love Triad locks, and I got this baby in my favorite steel, ELMAX, with G10, Ti liners and back spacer. Andrew really does some of the best work out there IMO, I couldn't be more pleased.

I can't imagine much surpassing this. So you guys who have received grail knives before, how long does it last before you start looking again? Did this knife cure my sickness or am I bound to relapse?

Ad-10 w/ carbon fiber & M4 is my Grail. I'm not into $300+ knives but I'm saving up for that one.

Conga rats on the knife, however, I agree:

Pictures please. I think grail knives can change fairly easily, but for some others they may stay the same. It can come down to how much money are you willing to spend and will you use the knife. I sure appreciate a knife much more when I use it otherwise if I do not use it hardly ever then I might as well just sell it and buy a gun that I would use. This being said I do find it hard to stick some knives in my pocket, but once I do it for a week it just becomes routine for me after that for knives in that price range.

Simmer down now guy, pics are coming!! :D

I am planning to use it. It may be hard to abuse it like it begs for, but it will get a lot of use.

Wheeler80, go for it, you won't regret it. I considered M4 or M390, both are great steels. Even if you are unsure, get on the list if you can, I hear the wait is pretty long now.

Congrats! Im on the list as well. Had 2 in smooth CF handles, but sold them and am waiting on one in textured CF. Use it and enjoy it!

Yep pics needed. Congrats.....Demko custom is way up there on awesome....well for me anyways.

it actually sated the beast for me a little bit after i received my grail folder, also a demko ad-10 with .100 ti liners and carbon fiber, i wanted a m4 or 3v blade but i couldn't go direct so i got very close to all my specs even is it is cpm154 :) i love his knives I've had a 4max and now this ad-10 and they just feel like fixed blades when open and I'm astounded at how smooth they are .
this thread needs pics man , i need to see all the ad-10 s out there, cmon!!

Very Nice! I was tempted to buy the carbon fiber one of yours with the AK-47 opening mechanism when it popped up for sale a while back, but I couldn't when I knew I had one on the way. I may have to go for a carbon fiber AD 10 for my next grail. How does the opening mechanism on yours work?

Congrad:thumbup:Im surprized, StabbersSteelConnection(Stabber) had one up here forsale last week&no one brought it or even made a comment so I scored it sunday and I fully understand what all the rant is about I truely love my AD10 it will be in my pocket when I take the dirtnap:D!!!!!!Btw maybe some one can help me out by going to forsale by dealers section where there is pics of my AD10 that I scored from Stabber and tell me if its a older AD10 about what year?I did ask stabber but he did not know, also mine has no ti liners its all CF frame.Im not able to post pics but if I could I would:)

I was actually a little wary of the "thumb disk" when i purchased it but i never see them come up with the .100 liners and i had to have it. after owning it , i am very pleased its not sharp at all there are a bunch of milled sections on the inside of the thumb disk and its dipped a little in the middle to let your thumb seamlessly switch direction from straight across to up , its very smooth . every bit as smooth as any thumb stud maybe even smoother, i was initially a little bummed on the blade profile as i really like the traditional demko blade profile such as your s but having said that i would not trade it for anything, just another reason to try and get another at some point. nice pics i really like the look , super clean and super tough
