Got my Hawk!!

:) I got my Ranger Spike hawk about a week ago!!!WOW what a beauty!!Edge so sharp I can shave hair.....balance feels great to me.I live in the city and there are'nt too many places I can start trying my hand at throwing,but I'm sure I'll find something to chuck it at eventually!!! ;)
 
I presume you mean our Rogers' Rangers Spike Tomahawk, yes? We didn't ship any Next Generation Ranger Spikes last week...unless Justin has been running a side operation from our shop!! :eek: :)
 
viking313, Congrats! Isn't it exciting!?!?!?! :D The RR Spike is one beautifully awesome hawk! I nearly pissed my pants when I got mine! I hope you get a chance to throw it soon... it basically throws itself :)

You live in the city huh? get your butt out to the country! Throw that thing. Lucky for me I have 15 acres of mountain woodland :D

If you like that hawk enough maybe you'll think about the NG or VN Tac assuming you don't have them both?

Yup....Rogers Rangers Spike Hawk....when the funds improve,I'll be getting the Next Gen.:D
 
I've been kind of a lurker here for a while...Thanks for the advise! I'll try to get out some place to throw ASAP.Or when work allows...work sucks,always in the way of my fun.....;)
 
The Vietnam tacs are great. I'm waiting for my NG ranger. It should be here wednesday. When I get it I'm going to e-mail rob and say:D
 
I'll ignore all emails wednesday! :D Mine gets here Thursday! Can't wait to play with it... and then take some pics! Pics of all 3 hawks together :) How peaceful, harmonious...ahhh the love. Family is great :D

viking... if you want a good job, join the military!!! I am! Of course... I don't know how often you'd be able to throw your hawk!
 
Blue ....been there....done that.....22 years ago!LOL!! I was in Army Intel with the 3rd Division and the 4th Division back '80-'84.
 
Kick @$$! And mostly before I was born :D Thanks for serving this great country. Intel? Very cool. I'm goin' for Ranger.
 
Cool....I'm not sure ...but I think a second enlistment may be a new requirement for Ranger training these days.That means a stint in the regular infantry first before volunteering to Ranger training.Anyone correct me if I'm wrong!!:eek:
 
Nah... I've researched this thing to hell. And back. And back to hell again, As well as talking to many Rangers. I can go in and be a Ranger as long as I get it in my contract. Basic, AIT, Jump School, RIP, Ranger Batt for a while, Pre-Ranger, and then Ranger School. Don't worry :D
 
Cool!! Well ...when your ready..Good luck! I knew and know a few former Rangers who said it was a tough course!But once they completed training and got an assignment to a Ranger Battalion they really enjoyed the constant training and deployment. The only combat action for Rangers while I was in was to Granada...as far as I know.Not that that short action was easy for anyone involved!!(reminicing)LOL...I was in a German Forest doing First Battle during that operation.....
