Well I finally found a Rat at a price I could handle, and it came in the mail today. I already snapped a couple pics of it destroying the box it came in.

I'm going mountain biking in a few minutes and hopefully I'll snap a few more pictures then.:thumbup:

Kidding! :p CongRATS on the HR. I got mine a couple weeks ago and it has quickly moved up to the number one camp/utility knife in the collection. I even used it in the kitchen last week to prep a venison shoulder roast. :D Yep, rats like deer meat just as well as they do wood, cinder block, and beer cans and (obviously) cardboard.

The knife came a bit dull, and is now even more dull, so it's time for me to break out the mousepads and sandpaper and try to get it sharp. Wish me luck!

Oh believe me, it was in the cards before I even saw your post. Then I compared our pictures and noticed yours was deeper in the tree. Now I know I need to get back out and beat you!

Schuey2002 just digitally edited the knife into the tree- in reality it has never left his climate controlled safe room.

The Howlers are actually pretty nice to throw. When I had one I did it a couple of times. Just watch out because sometimes they come back... :eek: :eek:
