Up close of the new logo. I thought I wouldnt like it as much as the classic triangle but its pretty cool.

I Can't believe I waited this long to get the 3. Its such a versatile blade and feels great in my hand. The attachment possibilities are endless and it's very comfortable IWB with the boot clip as I have been doing that all day. What a great defensive blade too.

One problem I have with the 3MIL is there is a LOT of play in the sheath. up, down, and side to side. Is this normal?

The Izula scales are nice but they will take some getting used to. Better than the wrap? Meehhh I dont know yet. I'll get back to ya.

LOVE the 3-MIL!

P.S.- Thanks Dale and TKC.com for the super fast delivery.

I noticed the play in the sheath with my ESEE-3MIL-CP. I figured in my case it was the lack of metal because of the clipped and sharpened point. In your case, dunno.

I didn't let it bother me. It's not like it is something that anyone would hear over the standard rattles when I walk (from all my other "kit").

I have an RC 3 with a black and a coyote tan sheath and neither have any play!!!
I wear mine IWB, left side as well!!
Very comfortable there. Even getting in and out of the truck.
I love the handle material on the 3 MIL. Gonna have to have one.
Nice family photo but why are they so shiny? You must have great cleaning techniques!!!

congrats!

i noticed a little "play" in my 3 factory sheath. doesn't matter because i don't use it anymore :D ;)

Hm, thats interesting. I'm not sure what I'll do about the sheath. It probably shouldnt bother me but I'm pretty anal about rattles and lose fitting parts.

hmm...never tried wearing my ex rc-3 iwb. stjones & jake - why do you guys wear it on the left side? fellow lefties? as for the loose fitting sheath, i'd try heating it up with a blow dryer or fire and squeeze it tighter. ofcourse there's always shotgunner11's sheath.

Damn, what a sweet collection! So far I have an Izula and a HEST and soon will have the HEST folder. I get the very strong feeling that this illness will never end.

haha, macbook's camera is like a mirror... I wear it on my right (strong) side JV. that's where it was in the picture too, but we got the mirror effect going on. jones- I love the canvas micarta. It's like a whole new world of grip. I think all ESEE models should be upgraded to it. It also handles moisture well as it reached 102 here today and the handle soaked up a good amount of sweat off my side. about an hour after i took it off, it dried up like new.

I just had an ESEE-3MIL show up the day before yesterday and my sheath also has ton of play. I was surprised at how much the knife moved around in the sheath, but I always planning on getting a kydex one from shotgunner11 so no biggie here. I definitely love the knife.

I checked an ESEE-3MIL and an ESEE 3 in a couple of coyote brown sheaths we have here and there was not any rattle but a little movement. If you want we can send you another sheath to try. Just let me know. Email me jeff@eseeknives.com with your address and we will send one out. I assume it's Foliage Green.

My RC-3MIL sheath has no play. If I grip the knife with one hand and the sheath with the other I can get the knife to move a tiny bit and make a very muffled sound. If I hold either the knife or sheath with one hand and shake as hard as I can, there is no movement or sound.

Most all the sheaths have a little play in them

all of my izzys have scales now. love em'. except the wives pink one which she likes the way i wrapped it with the black para-cord.

I have a RC3 and my sheath has a max of 1/16" play up and down. No play at all in any other direction. It is a nice snug fit.
