I recieved my JYD compositne blade today from Dave and have to say i love it!!!!! This knife is by far the smoothest Kershaw ive seen and the composite blade is beautiful ( so happy i ordered the Leek composite yesterday from dave as well ) I like that it has alittle weight to it, just feels like it can get some work done for years to come. JYD is now my favorite kershaw knife and ill be looking to collect every model from this day on

The JYD is my favorite manual kershaw flipper other than the TiLT. I have owned several versions and they have all been awesome, but if you can find a titanium frame lock/laminate sg2 model (1725SG2), I highly recommend paying the price. It is on a whole other level, easily on par with many mid-techs I've handled.

I absolutely love the JYD design. It fits so perfectly in my hand and the flipper action is SUPER smooth. The composite blade looks cool as well. :D

Im all about hunting down a black bladed JYD now but they seem hard to find since ive never seen one for sale before

JYD is a great knife. Not crazy about the pocket clip, but everything else about the knife is awesome. Also really like the composite blades with the CPM-D2 cutting edge. The CB Leek was my first CB Kershaw, and that thing just keeps on cutting.

ill have my Leek composite blade on monday than i can answer that question lol.....but it will be hard to beat this JYD. Like was said above the robustness of the knife and smoothness is crazy
