I was lucky enough to win Ken's contest (thanks again brother!) for hooking my dad while fishing when I was a kid. Life is strange. ;)

Knife came today. It is gorgeous. I wish my pics could do it justice. No matter how good the pics are, though, it wouldn't convey how good this knife feels in the hand. The curve in the handle is perfect for my hand. My brother in law was here and even he mentioned how good it felt to hold it. (He's not a knife guy). It is a beautiful knife, and I will be happy to carry it and use it. I am planning on making a sheath for it and making it my camp knife. Seems fitting and it will be a great knife for the job. For what they are worth, here are my pics:

I will post the sheath when I get it done. BTW, Ken made a point to say that the knife was used, scuffed, etc. :) It is beautiful. Like near perfect. And sharp. My arm is bald now.

Congratulations you lucky dog!

Good on you Dan, It must be great to have that knife in your hand, I just think it doesnt look as good in your hand as it would in mine..it just looks wrong there my friend, , please...don't do this to yourself anymore and send that knife to its rightful home - mine :D.
In all seriousness...I am so Rapt for you mate, what a fantastic thing to happen to one of ours.
Very cool.

Looks like a good all around small/big game fillet knife and pretty to boot! Thanks again to Eric for the chance!

That's a beauty. Can't wait to see the sheath with it.

Lucky man....

Well, I gave it the old college try, but with no leatherworking tools it quickly became apparent that I could not make a sheath worthy of this knife. So, I 'met' this gentleman through eBay. He does excellent work. The sheath was exactly what I wanted. The scuffs are from a recent bike/camping trip. Both knife and sheath served me well.

If you need a sheath, give him a holler. The name's on the sheath.
