I picked it up at the post office today. Its beautiful. A 20" Sirupati. It really is a work of art. Wow, my first one. ehhe

Congrats on a very good blade. They are good workers. Not for the heaviest of work but it will sure limb a down tree in a hurry. You are going to love it. I'll say welcome to the cantina too.:)

I've got two 20" Sirupatis. One was from the early days of shop 2, pre Birghorka, and not as pretty as the other. It's my emergency khuk, mounted behind the seatback of the truck. It's sharp, and stays that way cause I throw another user in when I head out to chop stuff.

The other is nice and pretty and stays in the house. Feels good. Moves well. Chops better than you'd think, as it's longer and has more leverage. They do pretty well.

Welcome to the cantina!

That was a great K to start with. Light and fast. You'll love it.

No doubt you'll end up with more. We all do. A word of advice though. Stay away from M43's! They are terrible! No balance at all and the handles fall off and the blades are soft and dull! So if Unnca Bill puts up an M43 PGA just let that puppy go on bye! :D

Of course, I may take it and see if I can work out all of the flaws. :D I like to help the kamis do better. :)

And StaY aWay from the Duck!

HarmlESs, Right!

JUst like the Highschool jock that pIcks up your daughter with A pocket full of Viagra. Right! :D

Welcome to the Cantina.

It looks like you are starting off with a great knife. Just watch out for that swamp dwelling Duck. There is nothing so low as a duck in pursuit of a prized khukuri.
