All I can say wow!

now I wish they would make it with a 3,5" blade.....

Does anybody know if the wood is stabilized?

I am probably wrong, but I think they cut a pocket into the titanium, and then they just push the wood into it. I've heard the fit is so tight, you can hear a loud snap sound when it is pressed in. They might also have some type of glue in there too.

Marcus, I think it is, can't imagine it wouldn't be. Congratulations, I'm still waiting on mine!

The big brown truck just dropped off #25 of 25 Redwood Mnandi's to me. This is a great sized and tough gentlemans knife. Yes, the wood is stabilized and also inlayed into the titanium. If you look closely at the rear where the lock and wood meet, you can see. The machining of the pocket clip is quite impressive as well. I was affaid the knife was going to a little too small to work with. But it turns out the Mnandi has a great blade length as well as being thick enough to endure tasks from cutting fruit and veggies, too opening mail, boxes, and cutting rope or twine. I love it! Hope Chris decides to make a larger version. Right now this exclusive 1 of 25 special Redwood addition Mnandi goes great with my large California buckeye burl wood inlayed Sebenza. One heck of a combo... :D

The stabilised wood is held in place by the tight fit and a propriatory 'sticky tape' used in the Space industry made by 3M! It has seen many uses where a permament solution is needed.

I received mine the other day and thought I would share a looksee. :D :D I am a proud poppa. Unfortunately for my wallet, this will probably not be my last 'woodie'.

Nice pic Temeculajack. Other than the number difference, looks like mine. I see there are a few that went overseas. I wonder who else is in our group of 25 Redwood owners?! I'm also curious to know what other inlay materials Mr. Reeve is planning? It should be interesting.

Larry told me today that my #20 is the only one still held up in Boise

Guess I'll have to make do with my new toys from the show for a while :p

I received #9/25 about a week and a half ago. One sweet knife for sure, although a little small for EDC IMO. A great size for a gentleman's knife but I guess I was hoping it would be a little larger and more filling of my hand. Quality and workmanship are absolutely superb as usual.

I just got mine and fell in love immediately. Although I did not get the Redwood, (I got #93) I must say this is one of the finest gentleman's knives I have ever held.

I really like it better than the Umfaan, it is a much more useable size IMHO.

The work that must go into that clip is incredible, it's a shame that it is so well done it actually looks like a stamped piece of sheet metal!

Really awesome... :D :D :)
