got my knifecenter.com catalog today and its awesome - best cutlery catalog i have ever seen - about an inch thick , lotsa good pics , 600+ pages - only thing funky is the prices are all retail - i guess the price fluctuates and they didnt wanna get locked in to 1 price ? they say all prices "up to 30% less than MSRP - anyway check it out, they charge $8 i think, but i have bought a few knives from them so they sent for free - hey 1sks.com, are ya listening? i am really enjoying mine .........a good idea IMHO

Is it the catalog with 3 knives on the cover (United Cutlery Legends IIRC)? White cover, 3 knives pivoted looking sorta like this \|/?

If so, yes, 1SKS can provide you with the exact same catalog... which we will be doing in the future.

We have the same catalog

But we try to focus on the web site because we can kep it more current and the prices are accurate.

But if ya see something ya like in that catalog let us know.

KnifeCenter is a great company and Howard is a good businessman. We are friendly competitors with them and several other dealers as well. Do business with who you feel comfortable with. We love the feedback so keep it comming

1SKS is a WOW company!

Actually, this is the catalog of the industry's largest knife wholesale distributor, Blue Ridge Knives. Printing a catalog costs about 15% of sales on average so an internet knife dealer simply can't print one without becoming uncompetitive. Since the BRK catalog is the best in the industry that's what people send instead. Just be advised that this catalog is always out of date so check with the people that sent it to you about availability. Take care.

Does anyone know if it is the same catalogue that Discount Knives uses? I got theirs last year, and have enjoyed it immensely, but it seems to me there were a couple dealers not represented, which I'd hoped would be. EKA for sure.

It is the same one that Discount Knives uses. Pretty much, if anyone sends you this catalog, you can call around to any of the dealers and find out what they will charge you for anything in it.

Good way to get a "common ground" impression

the catalog does have 3 knives on the front,

\I/ like that

and it is missing some manufacturers, ie benchmade isnt in it - but pretty neat to browse thru ............

Yeah, Blue Ridge doesn't carry Benchmade products which is why they aren't in the catalog. Can't have everything I guess, no auto's in it either.
