Got my kydex fix.

I got a sheath for my BK 2,9,11 from AzWelke. After putting the knives in the sheaths a few times I couldn't be happier with the lock up and hardly any rattle left if any at all. I am really impressed with the work.

Not a complaint but an observation. The bk11 was dull after putting it in the stock sheath about 10 different times after I put a sweet edge on it. Well I touched it up with my HF 1x30 and put a sharp edge back on in about 10min. Used Azwelke's sheath and did the 10 time unsheathe/sheath and still hair popping sharp. Out of the 3 factory sheaths I like the Bk2 is the best, but the azwelke wins.

+1 on the azwelke sheath...like Charlie Sheen..."duh, winning".

I have one for the BK14,..love it and see one for the BK2 in the near future.
 
I also have to sound off here about azwelke, his work is ten times better than a bigger online store that charges twice his price.
 
good looking sheaths. glad to hear his work is quality, since i just ordered -9 and -10 sheaths from him this weekend.



normally, i'd wait until they show up, test them out, and THEN then say 'i like them too'. but i'm focused on shamelessly building my BeckerHead post count so i can join up. so what i'll probably do now is post again when they show up. then a 'first impressions' post. then 'second impressions'. then what i thought about how my impressions changed in those first few seconds. then what i thought about while i was eating dinner. in 2 seperate threads. one for each sheath. with hourly updates on how my new sheaths are doing. and what my dog thinks about my new Becker sheaths. and the cat.

yep A+ work i have one for my 7 i won one for my 2 and JUST ordered one for my 9 its the best think=g you can do for a becker especially the bigger blades with the nylon sheath
 
I have 2 more of AzWelke sheaths ordered, one for my BK 2 and one for the BK 14. Can't wait.
 
So is the general consenses kydex sheaths are better for rattle and edge retention? I've noticed a significant amount of dulling from my stock bk2 sheath. Just looking for an excuse to upgrade haha
 
I have a sheath for th e2 and th e9 form al and theyre very well done but came way too tight. I have yet to soften up the kydex as Mr welke suggested. Still great products and will buy from him again!
