Thanks to Derrick and Wendy for getting it out so soon, I have to say this is a really nice machete and more than worth the asking price. I would highly recommend picking one up if you haven't. That said I realize the first thing out of some of the folks here will be pics? I will take care of that request this evening meantime thanks again to Jeff, Mike and Shon for coming up with it and Derrick and Wendy for getting it to me, great blade. Now the waiting game for my Junglas.......

I'm enjoying my Lite quite a bit. I've been finding all kinds of stuff to use it for. Burned off last year's garden the other night and used the Lite for the whole job. Lit the fire with a firesteel. One extra repetition makes good practice. :D

I just wish I had some overgrowth at my place so I can use it, might have to wait til my next outing :(

I checked them out the other night, and it looks like the price went up from what I remember..weren't they like $58? Now they are around $68..

That is all my fault. We orginally priced them and once we got through with all the numbers we were losing money on them (literally) because I had forgotten to add some costs in, so we had to have a price increase.

It's still reasonably priced.

I'm very happy with mine. Good balance and a decent edge.:)

I'd love to get the Machete Lite. It is indeed more expensive than other great machetes in the market.
I know the price's worth it, but so is the price of the RC3, RC5, RC6 and 'em all. So altogether, it's a lot of money spent for my outdoor cutting tools....
I hope the Lite Machete will eventually be available for cheaper, or just sold cheap on Ebay and the forums.

who else is selling a machete like this with the ESEE warranty :thumbup::thumbup::D that and the scales on it are really comfortable

I don't know if it was finalized, but they were talking just blade and handle breakage, but not edge damage, due to the nature of machete use.

I really want to get one but i got layed off last month so i need to tighten my budget. If i was working though i would buy one in a second. Just the practical side of me right now says will this do anything my trams of condors wont. So for now i have to hold off.

Mine arrived yesterday also!

And I've got a pic :p

Thanks Derrick!!!

Got mine yesterday. Love it! Handle is great quality, edge is very sharp in the middle (razor sharp:)) I haven't cut with it but it looks great, now I just wish I had enough for the junglas:( :)

Looks like that's what the website is showing Diz. Seems very reasonable.
