UPS delivered my M2 blade Ritter Grip today! :)
Got #27 of 340. Anybody else get theirs, and if so what number did you get?

P.S. Loved thwacking that blade in and out. :D
 
Whoa, already? I've got one on order, but I had no idea they were so close. Last I'd heard was June... ???
 
Interesting. Unless they're going to number the Mini RSK1s starting from 171, Benchmade is planning to make 340 pieces of the full size and mini.

Still waiting for reports that the Mini RSK1 started shipping. :D
 
got my M2 rittergrip today #048 now waiting on the mini. Does anyone know what the blade coating is and how durable it is.

Got mine too! #43 arrived this morning.

Love the blade--nice and sharp, coating is good, but there are some rough spots on the finish, but that doesn't matter, since I plan on using it. Very sharp, and much smoother than the D2 Cabela's version I gave my brother.

Supposedly, they're making the full size first, then the minis.

When did you folks place the order?

I inquired to place my order for the full size the last week of January but got put on hold while they checked the M2 steel inventory. Then got the word to oficially place the order, this on Feb 13th.

I believe the 'rest' of the full size Ritters are supposed to be delivered in June. Then the minis.

This is a bummer for me as this was to be my backcountry and climbing knife, to replace the 705 that stays in the city. :rolleyes: I'm in the backcountry and high peaks almost every weekend.

Wow! That low of a number will definitely qualify it as collector's item. Congrats on your luck! :D Luck of the Irish?
