hi guys - got my Lum folder(445) today, w/Ti handles and plain edge blade - all i can say is 'wow' - its 1 helluva knife - i am very impressed w/the workmanship and quality of the knife, and will write a review when i have a chance - its a very stout knife, much stouter than i thought from pics - and typical spyderco quality as usual - i swear i got a gunting thursday and i dont know which 1 i like best - the Ti handles on the Lum match my crawford kasper ti so i have matching knives - i for the right and 1 for the left pocket - any way i think the Lum is 1 of the best spydies around right now, imho - i am impressed w/it.........it seeems to be much more heavy duty than the pics suggest - and it passes the wack test for liner locks w/flying colors.. will write a review ASAP......

Sorry to burst your bubble but they're aluminum handles, not Ti. Anyway, it's still a beautiful folder and I love mine too!

An easy mistake to make, considering the rarity of the Ti Lum! :(

sifu, your post reminded me that I haven't carried mine for a while, so into the pocket it went. Just a superb piece. Grace and charm, with construction and capability like a tank.

yes made like a tank - and yes its a Ti tanto, not a chinese, but i wanna get a chinese soon too - the blade seems really thick at the top edge too - just a much heavier duty knife thasn the impressions i got from the pics i have seen - a cool knife imho
