OK so I got my new beautiful 15...BUT .....is it bad ass enough to take the everyday carry from my faithful SYKCO 511???? we shall see......as you guys can see, I use the 511...I am hard on knives and of course my larger users are the super seven and THE KING...so it begins...I'm almost afraid to use it hard as I hear they are discontinuing this lovely blade..what says the rogues gallery?

Use it! If you're afraid to use it now, just grab another one at the price they're at now and put one away for the future. :D

I don't think you'll break it anyway. It's tougher than people give it credit for. ;)
 
I have a few, I have yet to hear of any issues concerning this Blades durability. Beat the snot out of it and report back!

At current pricing for the 15 (as well as the 5) it makes sense to have a user and a keeper; though as time goes on, the users hold up so well, they become keepers! :D

From what I've read, SR101 will roll and chip if used for batoning thru hardwood or hitting bone while processing game.

I'd guess anything you could do to break a 15 would break the 511 too.

Hmmm ... sounds like you've got the subject of your next thread - BK15 vs Sycko 511. ;)

Verrrryyy interesting. ..I gotta get a better sheath for the 15..some kinda kydex low profile belt deal like my 511 for edc..but the 15 gets pressed in to service this weekend...might do a little stuff depending on sunlight ( no direct sun right now, medication for lyme disease)...but you guys are right, gonna grab another 15 and a 5 while they are cheap...keep ya posted

thanks, i suck at posting pics, most everything done from phone...live in country, crappy internet..... also cant figure out how to make my sig w/beckerhead number and knife appear below my posts,lol..
