Got my new Cooper necker :)

Mike Cooper (L6Steel) just got done making some of his wharncliffe neck knives. I got one of the first ones yesterday in the mail. Mikes intention was to make an economical neck knife that could be easily afforded by just about anybody, while still keeping his quality at the level we expect from him. He has done this very well. The knife is made from ATS34 and heat treated by Paul Bos. Blade length is about 2 7/16" with an OAL of 6" and 1/8" thick. There are 4 holes drilled in the handle, they look good and also reduce the wieght. The edge was shaving sharp right out of the box. The sheath is kydex. I think (I could be wrong) that this is Mikes first time using kydex (he normally uses leather). The sheaths turned out very well. The knife fits great, its compact and comfortable to wear. This is one of the better deals out there. A high quality neck knife and a good kydex sheath from a really good maker all for a price that is a real bargain. Shoot Mike an email at L6Steel@aol.com and snatch one up before they are gone!!!

Yet another job very well done Mike!!!

I heartily concur with Richard’s assessment of these little blades…they’re extremely well done and a tremendous value. I just snuck out from work (sssshhh!) to pick mine up from the Post Office and I’m very impressed with it. Great work, Michael!

MO, I know what ya mean about the edge, mine was very very sharp as well.

Guess I should stop calling it 'mine'. Its actually wifey-poos knife. Mike did a very nice job of engraving her name on it. She did say however, that I could carry it from time to time.

I love mine as well! Like Richard, I purchased mine as a gift for my brother. I had Mike put his initials on it. All the good things have been said about the knife and all I can say is I am SO LUCKY that my initials are the same as my brothers.

This necker is a KEEPER! The compact size makes it super comfortable to carry and as mentioned it is sharp, sharp, SHARP!

Gonna do another run Mike? Different blade shape?
