Ok, I'm jealous. Not for the serial, but for the Junglas. Kudos on the new blade, brother. Moose:D

SOOOOOOOOOOOO JEALOUS of that!!!!
Grats on the super evil blade!!!!

You guys need to get your butts in church :)

RE: the shots--Is that some photoshop technique or just depth of field? It looks cool. But I ask because some of the items that seem to be on the same plane as the in-focus material is out of focus, leading me to think it's not just a small depth of field. It looks sort of like the technique to replicate shots of miniatures. Just curious.

That's pretty wicked! I must admit I was a bit jealous, i just ordered one earlier this week and guess what number I got, 0668.... Kick ass blade though!

Either manual with an SLR, or a macro zoom setting on a point and shoot. My Panasonic FH20 allows me to manually focus in the macro setting, it's pretty awesome.

you right , shots were taken in f1.6 aperture , manual DSLR , lens Canon L50mm f1.2 great lens with extremely thin DOF wide open . great for portraits and to isolate background .
here is shot in f1.2

Cool thanks. I thought it was DOF technique but then some of the items looked like they were on the same focal plane but were not in focus so I thought it was something else. Guess they are just in front of the focused area.

Nice lens--nothing beats Canon's L lenses, for my money. I can't believe the abuse mine have taken and are good as new.

keep shooting

nice to see another canon shooter here in ESEEE forum , L lenses worth every penny  my lenses been in rain, snow, very humid areas , sand , and works like new !

hi res link
if you want to use it as wallpaper

Those Canon L primes have crazy smooth Bokeh. Right now I'm addicted to my 135L 2.0 for portraits. I have the Canon 50 1.4, wish I had the 1.2 it's a beauty but I need to get my hands on that 85L 1.2, that's my grail lens at this point. Nice shots:thumbup:
