This is a very impressive "little" knife (that looks like it could eat big ones). The grip is rock solid in my hand.
I'm also very impressed with the compression lock. It doesn't require any more parts than a standard linerlock, and it should prove much stronger and more reliable. My fingers don't go anywhere near the lock release unless I intend them to.
The Lil' Temp is also terrific in terms of ease of opening. The compression lock is smooth and doesn't offer much resistance (unless you tighten the pivot screw). The opening hole catches my thumb very easily. The is due to the fact that the blade is thick at the spine and gets progressively thinner as you approach the cutting edge. This makes the top of the opening hole thicker than the blottom, so it naturally catches your thumb along the top of the hole.
