Just came in the mail today :). My first benchmade, still getting used to the axis lock. Only issue I can think of is the blade is slightly off center. Should I keep an eye on it?

Here's a few pics

Congrats on your score!
Unless the blade is touching liners when you open or close the knife I wouldn't worry about it being off center.

thx! I was thinking the same. I was just worried that over time it might touch the liners, but I think that may be covered under warranty? Btw i'm from houston too, get ready for those arctic winds tomorrow!

Congrats!

I find the mini-Ritter Grip to be my favorite "small" knife as the design works well for me.

Congrats. That was one of my favorite knives. I still have it plus I just ordered the M4 mini too.

My Ritter is my favorite EDC of all my blades. When I first got it it was more for adding to my collection, but soon after getting it, I have carried it ever since. If the edge needs a little love, a few strokes on a DMT fine stone and she is sharper than before. Use it. You will learn to love this tool. Regarding the off center blade, if it bothers you send it back.

I'm starting to like stonewashed blades. It looks rough, yet feels smooth. It'll be my new edc especially to the office since my other blades are too big and heavy. Would an off center blade be a valid reason to exchange?
