Just got here today. It's a Loveless style chute blade made by Mitch Jenkins. It has a mammoth handle and is a complete mirror polish. Unfortunately, I got some gunk on it that I can't clean off until this evening when I get home so the mirror doesn't look as perfect but I can attest that it is.

Nice looking knife! I see he is in Manti, Utah which is also where Gil Hibben was for a number of years. Maybe it is something in the water there that makes for great knife makers? John

Jandlcustoms Jandlcustoms congratulations on your first custom.:cool: And man you sure chose one fine looking knife for your first. Just beware they are very addictive and can create a thinning wallet. :D:D Just kidding.
Let us know how it preforms if you decide to make it a user or since it is your first custom you might want to just display it. Either way it looks like it would make a great field dressing knife.
Great choice thanks for sharing with us.:thumbsup:

I purchased a Loveless style small guthook knife with beautiful amber India stag scales from him at the knife show last year. There was a lot of attention to detail in the knife-symmetrical grinds, flawless finishing and excellent balance. Mitch is also a real pleasant person. You chose a beautiful knife made by a master for your first custom piece. Congratulations.

Thanks! I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Now I just need a nice sheath for it and I'm golden
