Yeah, so I searched the forums for over three months, had roughly a C-note to spend. Finally settled on the RSK. Awesome, I'm glad I did. You know, I could have gotten the regular grip for less, but I just flat out love the design of the blade. The other "negative" about the knife, the handle, well, being in my line of work, the Coast Guard, the handle will apparently hold up well to lots of chemical contact that it will most likely see on a daily basis. Props to you, Mr. Ritter. I love the knife, I have no regrets. This very much feels like a knife I'll be able to pass down to the next generation. I'm very pleased.

I have no problem with the handle. I suspect its a perception issue since it is plastic because, functionally there is nothing wrong with it. And, it makes a relatively full size knife quite light which makes it easy to carry.

An excellent knife in every respect.

I've owned the 550, 551, 556 and 151 versions. My favorite is the Ritter full size S30V, mini Ritter S30V, and fixed blade Ritter S30V (except for the sheath).
