I got this baby in today and she is EXQUISITE. A truly hand made knife at an insane price. It has that amazing balance between amazing build quality and fit and finish but you can tell it was done by human hands and not machines. The blade stock is nice and thick, .16 inches, but still comes to a very thin edge. I was afraid that due to the blade thickness, it was going to be a chunk but it is amazingly thin.

Carbon fiber handles, three piece titanium backspacer, super deep carry clip and Chad Nichols damascus. What more can someone ask for?!

Pictures do not do this justice, especially from my crappy cell phone:

Here is what it kicked out of my pocket today:

I highly recommend Tobin and his knives. I don't know anyone else who sends their knives vacuum sealed in the pouch. He's a very nice guy, great communication and fast shipping.

Damn thats sweet I was looking at that on the exchange but didnt have enough to buy it :( his knives are badass

I would except the prices of his knives to start going up. They are to good for his current prices.

I'm guessing you meant expect and if so I agree whole heartedly. I consider this an absolutely incredible value.

Oops - yes I did. Thanks.

Dan

It's all good. I did a double take when I thought it said 'I would except the prices on his knives are going up'.

As he gets more exposure, I would imagine they are going to have to go higher. You are right, the knife is too good for the price.

Not that it's a bad thing!!

Does your knife have washers or bearings? Tobin made a knife for me with bearings and it is really sweet.

Dan

Mine has washers. I think that's why it took a little working to break it in. To be fair, the only other frame/liner lock knife I have with washers these days is my Michael Raymond Estrella. Everything else is either on bearings or has a button lock.

I didn't know Tobin worked with bearings. I don't know think will be my last knife from him so maybe next time I will work with him directly on a full custom order.

This knife was a total impulse buy. I saw the threads he posted after he finished it up and waited until he posted it for sale and snapped it up. Couldn't be happier.

I have two of his folders and they get regular use! Top notch fit and finish and a great value. Enjoy that new knife, it is beautiful!
