I got my Natural Outlaw-E and my Paul's Hatchet today. (Apparently the Pepper Shaker is shipping separately, after all.)
First, I was surprised to see that the Natural Outlaw-E came with gray micarta scales (instead of beige), and a brown sheath (instead of black). I didn't know such options were available. I think I like the NO colors a bit better, but the other way is just fine, too.
The Natural Outlaw seems really nice--but I think I'm going to return it without even playing with it. I just don't feel like I have a serious need for it, along with my new Steel Heart. It would be useful, but I think I can get by using the Steel Heart in it's place. I'll probably order one again, when finances are a bit less constrained; but for now, I think I'll have to make do without it. I'm going to think about this over the weekend before making my final decision.

Paul's Hatchet is very cool. Here are some of my initial impressions: It appears that it packs serious chopping power into a very light, small design. The way you can choke up on it makes it seem almost like two tools in one. Extremely innovative. Even compared to the other Busse knives, Paul's Hatchet seems particularly indestructible. It seems like it would also be good for throwing; but I don't know much about throwing axes, so I could be off-base. It's very comfortable to hold both as an axe and like an ulu. It seems like it would make a very effective wedge to use with a baton. It seems like a pretty good hammer, too. It also seems like it would be the best choice for trying to mount my camera onto.
I have to go. Let me just finish by saying
I LIKE IT!
