Thanks to recommends from various people on the board, I made a decision on a purchase to replace my Cold Steel Ti-Lite (which I am getting back).

I haven't had it even 12 hours, and I think this is my new favorite knife. All the member who recommended the delica with wave were right on. Love the handle size, blade size is perfect, fast, light, extremely flexible configurations. I opted for the delica because my Ti-Lite is already 4" 'wave'. I might end up getting the endura though, cause the delica rocks.

I was happy with my Ti-lite, so I decided to try another cold steel. Recon 1 Tanto. Umm, I love the G10 grips. Super grippy. Pocket clip is extremely (almost excessively) stiff. Finish on the blade is nice with no play. Downside, it is large. Very large. Not so much length wise, just overall width and girth. But, I can see this knife being a workhorse.

I will definitely make the delica EDC. No question about it.

I also bought a sog twitch 2 for a friend, and that is a cool knife in itself. Might get one later on, but my next knife will probably be another spyderco. If not an endura, I wouldn't think twice about getting another delica. Can't say enough about that right now.

Thanks for all the help.

What happened to cause yout to lose it temporarily?
I am a Krav Maga instructor. I was training one day at one of our studios, and when changing, I left the Ti-lite in the bathroom. One of the TaeKwonDo instructors picked it up and took it home, not knowing who's it was. I had to ask around, and they just didn't want a kid grabbing it. So they are returning it to me.

Nice. At least, now you know you work with good guys, getting your knife back to you like that.

Krav Maga is great to know and is a wonderful skill. I sure wish I had the time and ability to take a course in it. It's one of the most effective ways of disarming a gun carrying bad guy that I know of. Its emphasis on dealing with multiple threats quickly makes it really worth learning. Glad you're getting your knife back. I think over time, you'll get to really like that Recon 1, too. You made good choices.

Nice. I also own both a Delica w/ Emerson Opener and a Ti-Lite. I never cut with my Ti-Lite, but the Delica has been great for me for almost 3 months now. Fantastic knife, size is perfect for EDC, and it's a strong knife.

I do need to get the edge restored; I think I'm gonna send it in for service. But yes, great knife; has been my favorite thus far. I'm getting an Endura (non Emerson) soon, so we'll see how those two compare.
