Got my Patrol Machette; now waiting for the OVB Fisk Bowie!

Don't think you spotted my earlier query. What exactly is the difference between the Patrol Machette and earlier Bush Hog?

Also read here where you indicate things are on track for the end of the month to ship the OVB Bowie to dealers.... still good skinny?

No difference between the PATROL MACHETE and what was once called the "BUSH HOG". THe orignal name we planned to use for the PATROL MACHETE was the BUSH HOG, but the folks from the company that makes the mowers that are dragged behind tractors, called BUSHHOG's, felt that it was too close to their trademark, since a they felt a machete was a "farm implement". I think it was a stretch, but we did not want to seem like we were infringing on anybody's turf, so we changed the name.

Same name, great tool.

As far as I can tell, we will start shipping the OVB BOWIE's before the end of the month.

Thanks Will. I couldn't see any differences in pictures of the Bush Hog and Patrol Machette... now I know why!

I know I'm not alone in counting the days until that OVB Fisk will be in hand..... I'm still amazed at not just the pictures and description, but the whole project itself. Quite a collaboration!!!
