And as usual there are no gaps, high springs or complaints, the blade is razor sharp and just beautiful the way all the lines come together. I've carried Spyderco knives for at least twenty years and been asked more than once why I carry those ugly knives with the hole in the blade. I just smile and let them waste their money on higher priced knives that either don't perform as well or are just sub-par to my ugly knife. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed in fit finish or sharpness of any Spyderco I've owned. Sorry about the rambling but this Police is really a nice looking knife.
Can't wait for the PM2 to show up. Ill try to post pictures when my computer wizard comes home.
God Bless

The police model was the one that drew me to Spyderco and higher end folders in the first place. I saw one in an old Cuttlery Shoppe magazine and had to get it. From there my interest grew. That's a memory I still think on quite fondly.
I plan to pick up an all stainless plain edge sometime down the road as the only Spyderco I currently own is an all stainless Endura. It's an awesome knife that has served me well for years. I bought it years ago and it's still as perfect(even better now with all the wear marks) as when I got it.
I'm thinking about passing the Endura on to my oldest daughter as she inherited my love of knives.

Thats funny, I ordered one about an hour or so ago, stainless with partial serrations.

Picked up my second Police model (G10 and ATS-55) in Amsterdam, of all places, after carrying a full SE stainless model for years. I keep thinking about putting it up for sale on the exchange, but it is hard to match in terms of blade length, weight, carrying comfort and slicing ability. Maybe the upcoming Pattada model will finally usurp it.

Congrats. I've done the opposite of most people. I started with the Ladybug and have been slowly working up the food chain. I'm finally up the PM2, so I look forward to getting to the larger models like the Police and the Military. And definitely post some pics!

Spyderco Police was "The catalyst knife" once upon a time. Not only did it catch my interest for Bugs but for folders in general.

What's the difference between the Police and Endura?

The Police is a little longer and a little narrower profile. Also, the current SS Endura has a less pointy tip than the Police. Also, the SS Police has the swedge at the tip that the Endura doesn't.

What's the difference between the Police and Endura?

Also, the Police isn't offered with the FRN scales like the Endura. The Police comes with the stainless scales and the traditional swedge blade, or with G10 and no swedge, and also a finger choil. So there are some great options available.
