Finally got my euro mount back.:D

It's the one on the right, taken in MN. The middle one is from IA with the NMSFNO on it taken in 88 or so and the one on the left is from WI in 04. I have a nice spot on the wall where eventually the MN and WI buck will frame in a huge full head mounted ten or twelve pointer that I've yet to get.:foot: Here's to hoping that happens.:D

Looks very nice! I got a Marlin 30/30 this year and plan to get out in WI with my brother next year. Would love to get a deer with something other then my car.....:)

I've left a couple of Billy Goat scull/horns on a meat ants nest to clean them up in the bush. They used to do a pretty good job of them.

Some years ago now, I shot a huge lone water Buffalo on one of the stations where I worked, and dragged the horns and scull over onto a meat ants nest to clean up for me.

The only problem was when I went back to pick them up I couldn't find the tree where I'd left them. :D

The cattle station was 1500 square miles in size, I knew roughly the area they were in, but never did find them again. :confused::D

Another bonus of living in OZ, free euro mounts.:D

To bad you lost the water buffalo skull.:( Judging from what I know of OZ the grass probably ate it.:eek:
