Got home from work about 30 minutes ago and my shipment from KSF was waiting for me in the mail. I ended up ordering just an OD Izula some flashlights and batteries. Was going to get a FireKit and RC-6 but bought some really nice boots instead. Don't worry I'll get the others later. ;) Anyways, I really like this little Izula, it's really light, sharp and fits my hand nicely. I'm half tempted to buy another one just for the fun of it. LOL!!

Sorry I don't have pictures yet, I've been spending the last 25 minutes or so handling it, unsheathing and sheathing it. Hope to have some time in the next few days to whip up a small leather sheath for it. IF I do make a leather sheath for it, I'll make sure to post pictures. By the way mine is number 0367 for anyone interested.

Thanks to Rat Cutlery and Rowen for making such a great little knife and thanks to KSF for all there help! I'm really impressed.

congrats... you're going to love it... i recently scored an Izula as well, i can't seem to put it down.....:)

It's a part of my EDC now. Haven't put it down since I got it!

Big congrats on your new Izula . Planning on wrapping it or leaving it as is?

Congrats man, it's an handy lil' knife!

gonna go pink?

I've been considering the pink one. Would be hard to loose in the woods and the girls might dig the color. ;)

I'm going to leaving mine as is for now. I like the way it feels and rides with out a handle of any kind.

This sure is a nice knife, I carried it in my pocket all last night and this morning. Wen't to Tandy Leather in Salt Lake City with a friend and picked up some leather for some sheaths and a steel belt clip which I attached to my Izula sheath. It turned out nice, will post pictures later...

I really like that zip-tied clip idea.

Thanks Spyderguy! I saw someone elses post where they took some bolts to hold the clip inplace and that gave me the Zip-tie idea. Didn't have bolts but do have tons of zip-ties. I'm glad it worked out so well.

imo, it should have just been manufactured with a small clip on it.

If a clip was included that would be great. My Stiff Kiss came with a clip which I eventually used. At least the Clip and Zip-ties cost me less then $2 to install. :)

BTW while I was waiting for some friends to show up for a few games of StarCraft or WarCraft III Multiplayer I whipped up a little sheath for my Izula. The factory sheath works well but it's bulky and the knife was begging me for some custom leather and who was I to refuse. ;) I had recently made a leather belt with brass hardware so I desided to have the leather sheath match the belt. IMO It turned out rather nice:

That's a very nice looking leather sheath. Should be very nice for belt carry. I just slip my Izula in my front pocket and go, it fits just fine in there for me.

RocketBomb, thanks for the compliments. :) I carried the Izula in my pocket in the factory sheath and it worked well but I'm a part time leather bender and love belt carry so I just had to whip something up. Though I'm still planning to pocket carry every now and then. ;)

Way Cool !! as always, you've got great ideas and the skills to make it happen !!

Cheers,

Carl

Carl, thanks! You have a sheath coming next week. ;)
