And its a beast! I love the heft of it. Even though its blade is more than an inch shorter, it makes my Kabar (which it replaces) feel like a toy in comparison! First thing I did was to apply Tuf-Glide to the laser engravings and blade edge. Yah, it may be overkill for a bush knife, but hey - I always know I need to trust my life to my knife.

Can't wait to head out and use it in the bush....

I love the RC 5, as I like heavy knives. They feel more secure to me. Now, get an Izula to compliment it ;)

how does it cut? i'm really considering this knife but without a full flat grind i'm not sure how great it would cut on a thick knife like that

it's shaving sharp. The only reason it's not the sharpest knife I have ever received from the manufacturer is because a week before I got a Koyote custom scandi ground nickel steel knife and it's half the thickness of the RC5.

we have assloads of room, 18 boats and 32 people. If you can be in Boise by 2 tomorrow, with your gear, the more the marrier.

I only add 200# I'm a better fit. :p

HELL NO!!!!

IF, they get stranded they would be better off with me! I have more fat :D I have more calories and more uses......go away :p

PS: They can use me to float *** and as fuel***:D
