Got my Ronin

I got my long awaited Ronin today. Superb quality especially the handle and sheath. Not that the blade isn't perfect as well.

I love micarta and this design and manufacturing is about as good as it gets on any knife, production or custom.

The Kydex sheath is what I will expect on all future Spyderco fixed blades.

Thank you Mr. Janich. Mr. Snody, and especially Sal Glesser.

An unusual request from me, hold the release of the Yojimbo until it is as good as the Ronin.

PS- Sal, a small utility blade (3 to 3.25 inch clip, spear, or Wharncliff)) with this same handle would be a great seller.

Hi Roshi. thanx for the kind words. Glad you like the piece. Also thanx for the input on the other blade shapes. We're moving slowly on the Fixed blades while we study reaction.

Sheaths continue to improve at the Spyderco "Sheathery". Good crew interested in CQI. I'm sure you will see these improvements and others develop in all of the sheaths.

Got mine today (after a long wait!) Beautiful blade and handle.
One thing I will say, I have several flat grind VG10 Spydercos, but this one is bar none the SHARPEST ever from the factory. It will literally pop hairs way above skin level, which is a first for me on a factory edge. I haven't been "afraid" of a factory edge in some time!
