And it's friggin' sweet! Got a pretty cool serial number, far as I'm concerned

First thoughts:
~The scales are a bit smooth. Weirdly enough, they grip better when wet.
++The fit and finish is insane! Like friggin perfect man, Amazing! Props to ESEE and Rowen on this one
++Razor sharp. I shaved with it, dead serious.
-Just a bit loose in the sheath. I'm definitely getting a kydex setup for this down the road. for now though, excellent!
-The molle locks don't allow scout carry. So far, this was the only big negative. When I get some kydex, I'll make some straps for scout carry.
+materials quality appears excellent. everything feels sound in and of itself.
+It looks badass!
+balance is great
+I can already tell this is an excellent bushcraft/camp/EDC(it's legal in the great state of New Hampshire)/(with a clip point) combat blade

That's a combined (without even the least bit of testing) ++++++
That's a high rating, in my book.
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Pics to come, I'm busy playing right now.
Oohs, I just figured out how to carry it with one Molle Lock out front on the far two eyelets and the paracord through the closest eyelets to the handle of the blade.

That's awesome! I bought an extra 6 a while ago ( partially serrated to complement my plain edge) The cool thing was , the serial number was 0028 , the date my birthday is on
The 6S is the knife I take when it's grab-only-one knife.
Enjoy your 6's :)

I'd be cautious using the Molle locks for belt carry. Apparently they are not designed for that and may pop loose. All we need is another "I lost my knife in the bush" thread.

SWEET!! Another member of the double 6 club!! I started out with an RC-6 then ended up getting an ESEE-6, both off forum members. Def 100% agree great knife! Balance is just right, it grips perfect, great over all knife.

That's why I added the parachute cord.
I'm definitely molding a sheath from kydex for this soon, going to be the first kydex experiment I do
Going to integrate some straps for carrying the blade scout-style.
Thankfully, this knife isn't going anywhere except around my house for a few months, so I've got some time to figure out the design.

One thing the 6 lacks is the sheath.

Don't get me wrong its all good and functional, but with this damn sweet knife it deserves a custom sheath to go with it......

Yep.
My first kydex project will be an ESEE RC6 sheath

I did the same thing after I got my 6. Decided I needed a back up to my 6 and after using it a while I liked it so much I just ordered another one. The best ESEE knife for sure.
