Hi (am not trying to sell the knife) :) just saying
This thing is well made but its too butt heavy.

Does it bother you in a bushcraft knife?

Its not (lively) at all in my hand like my aurora.

I personally despise small knives that are ridiculously handle heavy. I've sold off a lot of small full tang knives I bought, because they felt like I was holding onto a brick.

Neutral balance or slightly blade heavy for me, please.

My Koster balances around the middle finger and I disliked it at first. Now I kinda like it.

I should also add that the importance of the balance goes down somewhat as a knife gets lighter. I've had some quite thick small blades, that, while they actually cut well, were both heavy and poorly balanced for my tastes. If you make a small blade light enough, the balance doesn't matter nearly as much to me. It's when a blade FEELS heavy in the hand that I get annoyed.

It depends on what I am using the knife for that I really care where the balance is. I prefer handle heavy for woodworking for some odd reason.

My BHK bushcrafter is a little too handle heavy for my liking. But the more I use it I sort of get used to it. But yeah feels strange in hand.

Yeah, mine has the butt cap and shearing hole (I should not have asked for both) .

I will keep it and use it hard though....:)
