FINALLY, after a lot of waiting I got my Strider Tactical GB!!! Bad-A$$ is far too much of an understatement!!!

This thing is wicked-awesome!

I'm thrilled beyond words.

As a side-note, I finally have an EDC. I didn't really have one before, if you can believe that! I have several knives of course, but none I can carry; some large fixed blades, a bali and an auto. (Both illegal in CA  )

SO, this baby will be with me all the time!

Now I feel right...a man has to have a good blade on him... :) And a firearm too, but not in CA...

Hey DJ, glad you finally got it, i was thinking of getting one, but im actually kind of getting off Striders lately, i love the designs, and their overbuilt quality, still have a few, but my new direction is tactical/utility folders that are less dramatic, but better made, like Carsons, Mayos and more recently Obenaufs, which are every bit the equal of a Carson. Strider folders are decently made, but honestly, the fit, finish and smoothness of a Carson/Obenauf/Mayo blows Strider away, but theyre very different, what Striders lack in refinement, they make up for in brutish looks and design. Again, i love Striders, own several, but lately, im getting more into the very refined folders, which of course, do tend to cost more. Though at $325, an Obenauf is an INCREDIBLE value in a tac/utility folder.

Youll love the GB though, great knife. I still might snag one one of these days if i have the extra cash. Of course, if i saw a GB Nightmare at a decent price, i would have little choice but to buy it... :)

AR's rule...But Alas, I'll shall have to wait until the NY show to get one...:(
