I have been waiting 10 days and UPS finally delivered my NICA tanto this morning. This thing is awesome!

You guys were not kidding about the quality of CR knives, I keep opening and closing it just to hear the click as the lock engages. I can't help myself.

Fit and finish are top notch.

I had seen some previous posts where it was written that this blade style is not very sharp. I have to say that this knife cuts like a razor. It's scary sharp. I now have a bald patch on my arm to prove it.

This knife will not be seeing the inside of my gun safe anytime soon. It went straight out of the box and into my pocket where it will be spending every day. At least untill I get a second Sebenza...

Maybe a small decorated....hmmmmm

Welcome to the club! There is no turning back now. Once you have tasted lobster, there is no more hamburger in your future. I've been collecting knives for 18 years and I can tell you that the quality of a Reeve knife and the exceptional customer service are second to none. Do yourself a favor and order a small wood inlay. I ordered a small left hand "woodie" and the lead time is about 6 months. This is the year 2000 model and is limited to 60 large and 60 small. The knife is expensive ($490.00) but worth every penny. I worked out a deal with Chris to send him $100.00 a month so that by the time the knife is ready, it will be paid off. That way I won't have to use my credit card. I have a tanto also and I love it. The knife is incredably capable of taking some pretty hard use, but wouldn't it be a shame to get blood all over such a nice piece of work? I also have a small plain Seb and I bet that little knife could take out any bad guy you may come across. Again, welcome to the club and only one question remains, which one to buy next?

As this is your first Reeves it is hard to understand, but that knife is half as sharp as the non tantos. If it is anything like the five (Tantos)I have had in my hands then it doesnt even hold a candle to the good old edge he used to put on blades. If you compare it too a regular blade you will see the difference. If im wrong, then thats great, and it means they listened to us.

You will buy lots more. Im sure :;
