Finally pulled the trigger and made it happen. A small Sebenza 21 with black micarta. I gotta say, it lives up to all the expectations and I haven't found the slightest shred of disappointment. "Sebenza smooth" is a real thing. The attention to detail and fit and finish is impeccable. This is perfectionism in knife form. This bad boy will likely stay my carrier but I can guarantee it won't be my last CRK.

Yeah. CRK is #1 no matter what I try. The Large Sebenza is my Favorite all time folder. But I have this itch for a Double Lug large or an Umnum.

Oh boy.

Enjoy that puppy!

I already know the small CF inlay variant will be next. I know people often say you end up getting both sizes eventually but I'm not so sure. The large is a little bigger than I like for pocket carry and that's what I buy folders for.

I like my only small ...it's an Insingo ... but only carry on special occasions ... my hands are just a bit to big so the large is perfect for me ...

I have a hard time to pick one favorite to be honest ... I love my Umnumzaan ... I really like my WC Inkosi ... and I still carry my PJ large 21 ... but insist on double lugs on all ... I like the blue but lean towards silver (since they all end up dilver soon enough anyway) ...

but definately welcome to the CRK family ... hard to go wrong with a CRK ... as far as folders go ... my Hinderer XM-18 3.5" are the only ones that can compete for pocket time with my CRKs ...

I still enjoy carrying some other folders at times ... but if I know I'll be counting on it ... it's CRK or Hinderer for me personally.

Hope this is just your first and you get to try out some oters down the road.

Well said. My XM 18 is my only EDC ATM and contending for poll position ;). What a throw back that game is.

I thought the single-sided lug would bug me at first but now that I have it it doesn't really matter. The inlays, clip, and lock make the knife asymmetric anyway and I can't remember ever needing to open a knife with my left hand.

I like the small drop point with micarta inlays ... that's why I like my small the micarta inlays made alot of difference in how it felt

and chances are you never will ... I am not sure if I have ever "needed" to open it with my left hand but I practice it ...

being a first responder and on the volunteer fire dept. sometimes I've found myself using my left hand for lots of stuff ... so I justify the double lugs that way lol ...

chances are I will probably never have to use them either.

You like Colts too by the way? Not to make too big of a tangent but that's my favorite gun of all time.

I can say I ABSOLUTELY like your colts !!! ... It's one of my favorite guns and rounds of all time ... looks like a beautiful set!

I had to part ways with my orginal Colt Peacemaker but have a Ruger Blackhawk and a Cimmeron Arms replica both in .45 Colt ... and a couple lever guns in .45Colt ...

just fun to shoot and with the right loads are pretty versilatile.

Congratulations on the CRK !!!!!!, I like the micarta inlays the most. From what I've read, micarta is the only inlay they will re blast the slabs on. Keep in mind that the CF inlay Ti is polished on the presentation side. If you're anal about not having smudge marks every time you handle it, it may not be for you. If it gets scratched up from use, don't think they'll try to re polish it.

I wish both were actual Colts but only the right one is. The left is an Uberti clone. Still love it nonetheless.

Yeah I have a feeling the CF one will be more of a looker or something for light duty in a vest or suit pocket. But this micarta one just took my top spot for EDC.

Uberti makes some nice replicas ... but I get it ... there's something about holding that original Colt and wishing it could talk and tell you everything it's seen.

I fell down the CRK hole and now I’m starting to fall down the Hinderer hole hahaha. It never ends.

I had the Uberti for years to hold me over till I could get my hands on the genuine Colt. FINALLY was able to get a hold of one last year. Allegedly they're still in production but out of stock with no availability in sight was always the name of the game. When I came across this one I had to go right for it.
