Before i opened the red box i kinda sighed wheeew..Just to take it in. As its been a while since the intro to this awesome blade, I did the same thing with the blade,,took a momment to "take it all in" before i opened it for the first time. It is a VERY nice piece. Thanks very much to all those involved!! enjoy my attempt at some ok photography

That knife was personally owned by Buck Rogers, IIRC. Nice steel. Awesome design. Ball bearings?

I watched Jdavis882's YouTube video. This is his favorite knife (just got it) and he owns a ton of nice knives.
Congrats on such a great knife.

thanks! At first i was a tad put off when they decided to coat the blade,,but now that i have seen it online and especially now that its in hand i really do like it, the finish is REAL nice!!

Congrats! I agree on the finish. Was very disappointed at first but it "works" on the TiLT. Reminds me of a stealth bomber. When I opened mine I was in awe haha. Just such an incredible knife!

Hi Hemi -

Congrats! I have mine with me every day - love it!

After having it for a while, one thing that I have really started to notice is the awesome distal taper (that is, the grind has created a taper from the base of the blade (tang pivot) to the tip, as well as being tapered from the spine to the edge. It has a very "sexy" grind indeed!

The grind works very well for cutting cardboard -

This past weekend I was changing the oil in my truck and had a mis-hap when emptying my oil pan into my oil storage recepticle. Don't ask, but the long and short of the story is that I had to use one hand to pull out my Tilt, hold a large piece of cardboard up with my knees, and then I used the tilt to slice out a large piece of the cardboard. This was the double-thick cardboard that is used for large appliances etc., which I keep around to use for floor mats etc.. The Tilt went through the cardboard with little effort and made a nice clean cut.

My ZT0551 would not have done this, as the blade is so thick and beefy, it would have required both hands to slice through, where the Tilt went through with no drama.

Great knife!

By the way, the CF handle is resistant to motor oil - it cleaned right up.

best regards -

Someone really using dial-up connection? It's 2012, not 1992...?

Just had to ask.

wow I had no idea it was that big. How do you like the clip so far? Looks like it would snag easily.

I had no issues in the half day that i carried it,, my delica 4 clip is all beat up,,in a year since i had it, only recently did i snag it so good that i bent it your not going to bend the clip on the tilt it pretty beefy
