Sent the Tom Brown Tracker to see Bryan Breeden and now it will make fuzz sticks like Pitdogs will.

Thanks for the great job Bryan .It is very sharp now. Bryan also made a kydex sheath that fits

very nice. Will get more pic's up but got to get back to work now.

Thanks again Bryan and also to Pit for recommending it to me.That hook sure does help to make fuzz's.

Once those Trackers have a good edge on them, they seem to perform pretty well. Now, if only I could actually talk myself into buying one.

Wow Jeff you really got some nice shavings there. By what you said it sounds like you are pleased with the way I sharpened your tracker knife and the kydex sheath I made for it lol. I am glad to hear that. I thought it turned out pretty good. I was cutting up paper at the shop like crazy. the belly on that knife is neat. I was pleased with the saw on the back I really thought it was going not saw very good at all but when it I took it to my wood bench it sawed pretty good. more than good enough to make notches for traps and trap triggers. A staggard tooth design would cut better but all in all it did pretty good. It really gives me some ideas for making my version of a tracker type knife up.

Look forward to the rest of the pics when you get chance to post them.

Well that ought to do it. There sure is a lot better cutter than it was before Bryan sharpened it.I chopped that black walnut into in nothing flat.
Thanks again for a great job Bryan.

Yikes....I nearly cut myself looking at the pics !!!!!

Great job Bryan, can't wait to see your version of the WSK !

Bryan is one of the hidden treasures on BF, I had never heard of him before becoming a member and I now have several of his blades. That is a good looking Tracker.

Looks Awesome! I really need to have mine thinned. I really like the tracker knife but the factory edge is way to thick.

Thanks for the replies guys. BBM , yes you should get yours thinned. I did not like mine at all the way it was when I got it.But now it cuts and chops great.
Give Bryan a PM and I bet he will fix you up.

Jeff

BBM, if want yours thinned out some I would be happy to do it for you. just let me know.

Bryan

I love those knives, Bryan is making me one of his designs right now actually. I asked him to make a few mods to it for me also. I can't wait to get it and try I out
