Got my Troodon... question

So I got my Troodon last night. I ordered the stone wash on the blade, but have never had a stonewashed before. Does this look right?

To me it just looks kinda dusty, which wasn't what I was going for - I expected something a bit more consistent. If that's what the stone wash is supposed to look like I'm ok with it - but if it's not, I'll probably be contacting microtech.

Anyone have any experience with this wash?

Here's another picture of it with my browning

And an attempt at getting a better shot at the blade. My camera is broken (the buttons that allow me to select options such as macro mode, etc. are busted) so this is the best I could do.

Looks like stone wash to me. My Sebbies and BM 635 look like that. This finish hides scratches very well, because of the random look the stones leave in the steel.

Nice knife

Ok, good to hear :)

I really like it. The action is smooth and solid, no side to side blade play and SO fast. I can't believe how quickly the blade deploys/retracts - it's so fast I can't even see it open or close.

that knife would get me a cell for a while up here

That's so lame. Seriously, how is this any more dangerous than any other knife? Stupid law from the 50's, it makes me understand why gun owners are so up in arms over any gun restriction laws.

Me owning this knife makes me no more of a criminal, and any criminal intent on stabbing people, would happily still carry one if that was their choice, no matter how illegal they are.
