Got my USMC in today....tip question?

So I got my USMC Full-Size in today.

When looking at the tip at first I thought it looked bent...however I realized it was that the finish didn't reach all the way even to it on both sides. It still looks slightly off though. I can't tell. Maybe just an illusion because of the finish?

I thought I read somewhere that the tip of them all are ground slightly uneven?

Any help? Perhaps I'm just being picky.
 
Can you post a picture of it? That would help with understanding what is going on.
 
I've gotten a few with off grinds on the tip.

Never paid it much attention though, my newest one, the Cutco/Kabar Explorer ZK is right on the money.

I think my USMC may have the same tip issue as yours, have you tried sharpening it yet? I'm not sure if it's my lack of skill or the tip being slightly bent but i can't seem to get a usable edge on the tip.

The sharpening on the tip is a little uneven on a couple of mine. It dosent hurt anything and cleaned up during resharpening.
